Sailors will receive intensive on-the-water coaching\, video debriefs\, and classroom sessions designed to improve boat handling\, communication\, strategy\, and winning team race techniques. \nCoach \nTom Sitzmann \n\nFormer Head Sailing Coach\, Severn School\nTwo-time ISSA Baker Team Race National Championship winning coach\nEight-time National Championship coach\nFormer collegiate coach and professional sailor\n\n  \nClinic Topics \n\nTeam race rules and umpired racing\nBoat handling and speed\nStarting strategies\nMark traps and tactical positioning\nCommunication and teamwork\nShort-course practice games\nVideo review and daily debriefs\n\nBoats \n\nPortland Yacht Club fleet of 12 Flying Juniors (FJs)\n\n  \n  \n  \nEligibility \nOpen to experienced junior and high school sailors with prior doublehanded racing experience. \nSchedule \nSaturday\, September 12 \n\n 0900-1500\n\nSunday\, September 13 \n\n 0900-1400\n\nRegistration \nSpace is limited to allow maximum sailing time and coaching.
